The tentative schedule for this part-time RN position is Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Analyze comprehensive information pertinent to the patients care and management and uses acquired knowledge, theory, research, and experience to respond to changes in clinical situations.
  • Prepare patients for surgical procedures, local and IV sedation, according to physician orders.
  • Evaluate patient’s preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative status at intervals according to facility policies and procedures.
  • Employ strategies to promote health and a safe and healthy environment.
  • Perform office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer.
  • Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • The responsibilities listed are a general overview of the position and additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • 1 or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse: Med-Surg or Critical Care (preferred).
  • Associates Degree with experience or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Consistent professional appearance and attitude.
  • Must be detail oriented, punctual, and patient care focused.
  • Motivated to grow and learn new things.
  • Ability to cross train and perform front office function.
