accounting

team

as

a senior

accountant

. In this position,

you will

assist in ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial statements in accordance with SEC regulations.

You will also

provide technical accounting guidance to other departments and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The Senior Accountant will also assist in the accounting close cycle and exhibit sound

working knowledge of US GAAP. W

hat You Will Do as USANA’s

Senior Accountant Assist with the preparation and filing of USANA's SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, 11-K, Proxy Statement, and XBRL reviews, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations and US GAAP Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for SEC filings and perform comprehensive tie-

outs Prepare quarterly and annual disclosure checklists

p

erform technical research and prepare technical accounting

memos Assist with evaluating business transactions for proper US GAAP accounting treatment, including accounting and disclosure

recommendations Be the subject matter expert for leases, including the ability to implement and maintain lease accounting systems and processes, including data collection, lease abstraction, and lease accounting software

to

prepare schedules for compliance with US GAAP Responsible for preparing contract schedules related to financial disclosures including entering, maintaining, and tracking contracts and payment

data Assist with equity compensation, including accounting and financial

disclosures Assist accounting personnel with month-end closing procedures as assigned or

needed Participate in efforts to automate and improve business

processes Assist in the administration and training of the procure-to-pay

system Background and Skills You Will Need Bachelor's degree in accounting or other business-related degree required;

master’s

degree

preferred Experience preparing or reviewing SEC

filings Strong understanding of financial statements, US GAAP, and SEC reporting rules 2-5 years of corporate accounting experience; public accounting preferred Ability to research unknown and newly issued GAAP pronouncements and identify how they impact our
