As the Customer Insight and Marketing Analyst, you’ll help us join the dots across channels and interactions enabling Seasalt to build a comprehensive picture of what drives interactions with our brand and help focus our efforts on what matters most. You’ll champion the value of customer insight and metrics, enabling the business to better understand the link between customer awareness, consideration, acquisition, retention and loyalty, and commercial results. This role is offered as a full-time, permanent contract based in Cornwall. W ith our blended approach to hybrid working, we expect our people to work a minimum of 40% of their working week from a Seasalt Office, the remaining 60% of the time will be from home (or your chosen location – however, you must be based in the UK). You'll help us by: Supporting the Senior Customer and Marketing Insights Manager you’ll be the subject matter expert for customer data in the Seasalt business. You’ll be the point of contact for “single source of truth” on customer data, ensuring consistency in reporting and data used and alignment with Seasalt analysis and reporting. Collaborating with the business to establish customer insight and data analytics goals and requirements and how best to deliver on these. Working closely with the Data & Analytics Team to optimise the use of customer data and information to meet the needs of the business. Assisting in the delivery of meaningful monthly customer reporting, identifying key trends and opportunities and working with the Senior Customer Analyst to provide insightful and actionable commentary on performance. You’ll analyse third-party insight from surveys, market reports and brand and market studies to provide more market and customer context to support smarter decision-making. Deliver the customer selections and matchback analysis for all direct mail campaigns, ensuring they are optimised to deliver key goals. Producing a regular customer sales forecast and identify key risks & opportunities verses the financial forecast. Beyond the core commercial segmentation model provided by our customer data agency, help to establish additional opportunities for customer tiering and segmentation, deliver data selections and report on performance for all CRM campaigns Working alongside the marketing team to set tangible customer and commercially focused KPIs for key initiatives and analyse results to feed into lessons learnt Engaging teams and stakeholders and enable quicker routes to insight through visualising complex data into dashboard, charts and tables. The skills you'll be sharing with the team: Previous experience working as a marketing analyst, ideally within a retail environment Advanced Excel skills and experience working with databases/large data sets confidently and presenting key insights in a simplistic, logical manner Experience of using Alteryx and working with BI Tools Knowledge of Google Analytics data Experience of using statistical analysis and modelling techniques to understand business performance impact Possess highly effective communication skills, you'll be able to articulate complex issues and concepts to a wide range of audiences, both written and verbally.
