The ability of our Host Associates to proficiently multi-task provides guests at Hay Creek properties a secure, comfortable confidence that their service expectations will be exceeded. Salary: $65-75k Essential Functions Create and implement short and long-term marketing strategies to meet sales team goals and annual sales targets. Actively seek new business using marketing campaigns, telemarketing, e-commerce, email, site visits, FAMs, and other effective methods. Work closely with Sales and Revenue Management daily to clearly understand the hotel's objectives for attracting business. In coordination with the HCH marketing team and the DOSM, help develop brochures, advertising copy, and other written/digital materials/signage about available food/beverage services and hotel facilities for public accommodation. Develop and execute effective email marketing campaigns to drive sales and revenue. Develop marketing strategies and implement promotional campaigns to maximize sales potential and increase overall business. Work with local and regional tourism offices, marketing and public relations agencies, etc. to grow the overall awareness of LSL. Generate new business while also increasing customer loyalty by cultivating long-term relationships with hotel guests and clients. Analyze sales reports documenting marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline & execute marketing plans based on this data. Direct and implement the organization's advertising and promotional activities. Analyze market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches. Identify new market segments that will benefit from LSL's products and services. Prepare effective advertising campaigns based on market research. Collaborate with senior executives to develop growth plans for the property. Consult with the DOSM and stakeholders to evaluate the hotel's performance. Along with the DOSM, produce the annual sales & marketing plan for LSL and develop aggressive long and short-range sales objectives and promotional programs based on past sales projections and accomplishments. Attend daily Stand-Up meetings with the team to ensure proper communication, alignment, and teamwork. Demonstrate flexibility to step into whatever role is needed at the time, in order to deliver exceptional customer service. This may include taking on job responsibilities outside of this job description temporarily, and may require assisting other departments in their regular functions. Understand, adhere to, and enforce all HCH SOPs, Hotel Policies, and Sales and Catering procedures. Take initiative as shown by doing assigned tasks without prompting and developing new sales ideas and programs. Cooperate with others in completing assigned tasks in a team capacity. Adapt to working in a fast-paced and crowded environment during event execution. Use sound judgement in meeting sales objectives and in resolving challenging situations. Address each and every guest using the S.E.A.C. method, with a smile, eye contact, acknowledges their presence in a timely manner with appropriate greeting, and kindly close. Attend all scheduled meetings and training sessions. Understand and practice all HCH safety and security procedures, including Emergency Evacuation Procedures, Accident Reporting, Right to Know Law, Written Information Security Program, Bloodborne Pathogen Procedures, Anti-Harassment Policy, and Violence in the Workplace Policy. Comply with all Hotel and HCH time and attendance policies. Comply with all Hotel and HCH uniform, dress code, and appearance standards.
