Job Summary
The position of Senior Manager, Procurement will be responsible for executing the strategic approach to
the corporate procurement and material management process for the purchase of direct and indirect
goods and services. This position will research, evaluate and direct purchasing for goods and services;
lead buying and planning team members with procurement processes, change and update other
procurement-related activities; lead and expand a centralized procurement program that will add value
and efficiency to the organization. The Procurement team will have tactical responsibility for the
development and implementation of policies, procedures and systems that support the companys
acquisition and materials management of goods and services for both customer integration and internal
use.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manages the acquisition of inventory and resources.
Conducts, evaluates, selects, and monitors new or existing vendor accounts.
Performs administrative contracting duties, onboarding, and management of vendor accounts.
Consults with financial management to form a budget that contains funding for desired operations.
Mange the rebate program and expand program to broader supplier base.
Lead RFP management for non-customer projects.
Develop and implement procurement-related training programs for the procurement team and
organization.
Meet regularly with respective departments regarding procurement for their understanding and/or
recommendations to enhance policies, procedures and develop, communicate, and implement
new/revised policies, procedures and programs as needed.
Develop and manage a centralized procurement program that adds value and efficiency to the
organization.
With your buying team, process purchase orders; develop bids and proposals; and reconcile any
invoice discrepancies.
Develop, communicate, and administer procurement team performance and development plans
and appraisals.
Develop the quality standards of what is expected of our suppliers and communicate with

suppliers to improve KPI performance.
Responsibility for seeing the purchasing process through.
Ability to analyze all the data collected to make the best possible supplier decisions.
Work with various suppliers to secure best pricing. This will include negotiating contracts on
behalf of the best interest of the company.
Required Skills and Experience
7-10 years of related experience, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.
Superior MSOffice and data management skills: spreadsheet and performance analysis,
database systems, and report preparation. Experience with Oracle Financials a plus.
Results-oriented, metrics-driven leader with expertise in purchasing, supplier collaboration, and
compliance.
Experience with sourcing/procurement, inventory management and building a vendor program.
Ability to build collaborative relationships.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence management.
Strong communication skills.
Outstanding team building and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Educational Requirements
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory Management or related field.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Standard office environment.
