Transportation Procurement Analyst

**The Opportunity**

Under the direct supervision of the Logistics Procurement Manager, the Transportation Procurement Analyst is a member of the Indirect Procurement (and ultimately the Global Corporate Procurement team) that is responsible for supporting QVC, Inc and its affiliates with services related to the Logistics Category. With the assistance of the Procurement Logistics Manager this person will develop and maintain a supplier database that will provide information on current suppliers, as well as identify new suppliers that could service Internal Clients needs.

Also with the assistance of the Procurement Logistics Manager the Transportation Procurement Analyst will develop and maintain Market Research Reports that will monitor all key indicators to ensure appropriate short-, medium- and long-term transportation strategies are in place. These reports will also be utilized to keep secondary, and tertiary stakeholders informed on status of the Logistics Category.

Periodic travel to our U.S. locations may be required.

**Your Impact**

* Develop and maintains a database that includes current suppliers with updated contractual rates and fees as well as potential new suppliers that could service our Internal Clients requirements

* Support Procurement Manager and Buyers with managing the acquisition process (sourcing, developing, and negotiating) through eProcurement tool ensuring competitive pricing, compliance with policies, limiting risk, and driving Total Procurement Value

* Conduct ongoing market research and Partner with Internal Clients to create market information reports that will be distributed internally

* Partner with Internal Clients to create and maintain category performance reporting which will help identify lost Total Procurement Value opportunity or uncover additional Total Procurement Value not yet identified

* Participate in category spend meetings and help evaluate RFP strategies

* Building and maintaining relationships with key business partners across QVC with the support of the Procurement Leadership Team

**What you Bring**

* 1 to 3 years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, business analysis and/or equivalent experience

* Working knowledge of eProcurement systems and advanced reporting tools preferred, but not required

* Under the direct supervision of the Logistics Procurement Manager, this position is a member of the Indirect Procurement (and ultimately the Global Corporate Procurement team), responsible for supporting QVC, Inc and its Affiliates with services related to the Logistics Category

* Work with Buyers, Operations and Finance to implement a Category Performance Reporting process that will help identify areas of lost savings opportunities

* With the assistance of the Procurement Logistics Manager, develop and maintain Market Research Reports that will monitor all key indicators to ensure appropriate short-, medium- and long-term transportation strategies are in place. The Market Research Reports will also be utilized to keep secondary, and tertiary stakeholders informed on status of the Logistics Category
