Job Description

Description Seeking a self-motivated, team-oriented board design engineer to developMicron’s next generation Solid State Drive (SSD) products. This positionrequires experience in hardware architecture, design, signal integrity andpower supply design. This would include modeling and simulation for high speedsignaling implementations and power supply design including power distributionnetwork (PDN) simulations. A successful candidate will have a good workingknowledge of: state of the art memory device technologies, interfaces such asSATA, SAS, PCIe Gen 3&4, ONFI and implementation techniques required forhigh-speed interfaces. In addition, this candidate will have a good workingknowledge of Buck and boost power supply designs. Experience with PCB designtools (Cadence PCB design and analysis, including Si/Pi). Expertise in thedesign for optimum signal and power integrity as well as hands-on labexperience.
