The Senior Director, Marketing Operations is responsible for enabling effective demand processes, execution and supporting infrastructure across Marketing. This includes providing best practices guidance, marketing systems management, enabling technical infrastructure and reporting and analytics for all marketing functions. The Senior Director is responsible for leading processes, operations planning, infrastructure, system research and analysis. The leader will establish dashboards to report on cross-department marketing goals displaying metrics that translate into corporate sales and profitability goals that help to optimize marketing investments. The Senior Director will play a key role in helping to establish a data-backed decision-making mindset across the demand functions within the GTM Operations team. The role reports to theVP, GTM Operations and will partner closely with the CMO and Marketing team to provide exceptional support. What you’ll do:
  • Manage budgetary control for Marketing organization, including strong operational cadence.
  • Management and development of the marketing operations team with skilled personnel to quickly address infrastructure issues and drive immediate value to the business.
  • Leading the effort to employ best practices processes in the areas of B-B lead management and drive significant improvements in marketing data quality.
  • Manage technical aspects of web infrastructure (CMS) and demand marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM, project management, ticketing) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads, and marketing metrics across the Demand Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Field Marketing, Channel and Alliances Marketing, and Product Marketing functions.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership in developing, understanding, and utilizing metrics that matter to support marketing goals and business efforts.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, entrepreneurship, and customer service within and around marketing operations and act as a primary liaison to IT, sales operations and channel operations.
  • Provide project management support for all marketing functions to ensure timely delivery and execution for significant launch events across the team.
  • Manage regular interlock meetings to ensure cross-team collaboration and coordination.
What you’ve done
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or Analytics.
  • Experience in marketing operations, with additional time in a closely related role in marketing or sales.
  • Experience working with and effectively influencing senior management.
