Job Description
+ You will create shop drawings for customer approval and fabrication
+ Works closely with all departments (project management, machining, and fabrication)
+ Collaborate with the design team, project managers and clients to understand project specifications and requirements.
+ Interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to create accurate drafts and provide value-engineering insights.
+ Use Inventor, Woodwork for Inventor, or other drafting software to create precise and detailed millwork plans.
+ Develop millwork solutions incorporating cabinetry, casework, fixtures and wall system products
+ Work with management to identify and implement continuous improvement ideas.
+ Work with project and production management to ensure projects are completed on time
+ Assist in developing written processes and procedures for engineering department
Must Have
+ Bachelors or Associates degree in Engineering or Architecture
+ 3 years of design experience in the architectural, woodworking and/or millwork industry
+ Experience designing in Autodesk Inventor
+ Understanding of millwork, various construction materials, fixtures, wall system products and custom case goods
+ Ability to read and interpret commercial architectural drawings
