Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in North Reading, MA. This individual will be responsible for designing, documenting, and releasing cables, ITA's, and custom test fixtures for our Military and Aerospace customers.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems for test equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs and implement design solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and drawings
  • Support new product development and maintenance of legacy products
  • Work with internal machine shops or outside vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective manufacturing
Requirements
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical design
  • Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS 2018 or higher and PDM
  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication, machining, and fastening methods
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
