As a corporate procurement category manager at Hendrix Genetics, you will report to the Global Procurement Director and be part of our Global Procurement team. Your daily tasks will include:

Managing two direct reports : François, junior buyer, and Maëliss, purchasing intern. Actively contributing to the Procurement transformation by promoting the adoption of new practices and fostering innovation. Contributing to the deployment of the group purchasing strategy. Supporting the development, alignment and implementation of the category strategy Managing purchasing projects (objectives, team, planning, governance). Identifying new purchasing opportunities that create value for the company in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Analyzing expenses in coordination with internal stakeholders and finance. Playing a key role in supplier identification, development and relationship management Driving negotiations and tenders on regional and global scale; working closely with local stakeholders to define & implement local procurement initiatives Contributing to the Group's financial results by developing and implementing a performance management plan. Providing regular reporting to the group procurement director, internal stakeholders, and finance.
