Financial Analyst

who will report directly to the Chief Administration Officer. The position is responsible for providing functional and operational system support across the suite of Aveshka financial applications (including Deltek Costpoint and other systems). The individual will coordinate with the Finance and Information Technology team and successfully support the applications in line with established SLAs. Responsibilities: • Project set-up and maintenance in Costpoint (ERP) system • Prepare monthly financial reports and close out. • Prepare budgets and forecasts. • Prepare reports, charts, and graphs that present financial information. • Prepare monthly government contract billings. • Prepares and executes financial modeling based on potential changes in customer funding. • Assists in negotiation and execution of government contracts. • Provides management with contract status for cost and revenue. • Prepares cost reporting for Government customers to include invoices. • Acts as liaison to Legal and Contracts Leads to review and execute business agreements with suppliers. • Provide end-user functional support/troubleshooting and training for key areas of Costpoint: • Project setup, cost ceilings, billing, and revenue for different contract types Requirements: • BS degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Policy, or related field. • 5-8 years relevant experience with financial reporting and administering US Government contracts. • Experience with the FAR and other U.S. Federal Government contract regulations. • Experience with accounting and financial reporting; experience with Costpoint, Deltek, ADP • Experience with forecasting and budgeting in a government contracting environment • Experience negotiating pricing and terms and conditions a plus • Must have strong computer skills, including MS Word, MS Excel (including design and development of moderate to complex spreadsheets), and MS Outlook. VBA macro development is a plus. • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. • Must have experience with Government cost reporting, to include billings. • Strong organizational skills in which attention to detail and accuracy are critical. • Ability to problem-solve, both autonomously and within teams. • Approachable and confident personality type, comfortable within a wide range of organizational environments. • High integrity and natural desire to assume responsibility.
