Position Overview:
DVS is seeking a Financial Analyst to become an integral part of our corporate finance team. This role will be based in a hybrid work environment, allowing for in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in corporate finance, engaging with multiple business units and contracts within the IT Services Government Contracting sector.
  • Conduct monthly forecasting and perform actual versus budget and forecast versus budget analyses.
  • Possess a solid understanding of prevalent contract types utilized in IT Services Government Contracting.
  • Assist in the monthly closing process, ensuring all revenues and expenses are accurately recorded in accordance with GAAP.
  • Comprehend indirect rates and their application within financial reporting.
  • Execute ad hoc program profit and loss analyses.
  • Familiarity with DCAA regulations and GAAP standards.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail and follow-through.
  • Proficient in financial data analysis, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint and Time and Expense Systems.
  • Familiarity with Cognos Reporting tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
