**Job Summary:** As a Patient Services Coordinator I, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a healthcare setting. You will assist patients with inquiries, appointment scheduling, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit.

**Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred - Proven experience in customer service or a related field - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Familiarity with medical terminology and practices is a plus - Proficiency in basic computer skills and electronic health records systems

**Responsibilities:** - Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls and emails, addressing inquiries or directing them to the appropriate personnel - Schedule appointments and coordinate patient referrals - Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information - Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing inquiries - Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure seamless patient care - Adhere to confidentiality and privacy regulations in handling patient information - Assist with general administrative tasks as needed

**Working Conditions:** - Full-time position in a healthcare facility - May require occasional evening or weekend hours - Fast-paced environment with frequent patient interaction
