The Specialist audits all areas of Credit Operations to ensure compliance based on federal, state and banking regulations. This individual is responsible for identifying trends and reporting non-compliant concerns to the Operations Leadership team. Additional responsibilities include identifying trends, analyzing data and providing compliance and operational support for plastic reissues, mail services secure destruction process and reporting for cashiering.ResponsibilitiesAudit work processed by Credit Operations representatives for compliance with federal, state and banking regulationsEstablish proficiency to a level of becoming the subject matter expert for plastic reissues, includes development of SOPs and audit processesResearch and respond to attorney lettersEstablish operational and audit processes for cashiering Review exception reports for adherence to applicable regulations and internal CFNA policiesMaintain and provide documentation of compliance and regulatory work product as requestedPerform OFAC and FinCEN reviews, report findings to CFNA leadership and the appropriate Regulatory agency as required. Oversee regulatory complaints and Unfair Deceptive Abusive Acts & Practices (UDAAP) log for accuracy, completeness and emerging trendsQualifications:Ability to effectively prioritize workload to meet established deadlines and SLAsAbility to work independently and within a teamDisplays a solid understanding of Microsoft Office product suiteAbility to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to analyze data and make recommendations for improvement Demonstrates strict adherence to banking regulations and internal policiesRequired: High School Diploma with two years of experience in financial services, audit and/or compliance.
