Human Resources Business Partner

role is a highly motivated and energetic individual looking to join a dynamic company within the youth sports industry. An HR background and outstanding people skills for interaction with all levels of an organization is key to success in this position. This position will require a working knowledge of labor laws in California and other West Coast States.

Strong preference for candidate to be based in our Boston, Chicago or Denver office. Position Responsibilities Partner with our West Coast brands on their day to day HR needs including administration of HR policies and practices aligning with company objectives and federal and state requirements. Collaborate with brand leaders to understand their goals, challenges, and workforce needs, and develop HR strategies that align with the organizations overall business objectives. Manage the recruitment and selection process for the region including workforce planning, job postings, interviews, and candidate assessment to ensure the organization has the right talent in place. Partner with the Region and Brand leaders to manage and resolve employee relation issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, disciplinary actions, and investigations, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. Assist in the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, feedback, and improvement plans. Provide guidance and input on brand organizational structures, workforce planning and succession planning. Ensure that HR policies and procedures are communicated, understood, and adhered to within the region. Support organizational change initiatives, including restructures, mergers, and acquisitions, by helping manage the impact on employees and facilitating effective transitions Work with brands to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment. Knowledge, Skills and Ability Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
