The Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager plays a key role in the design and implementation of organization-wide innovative recruiting strategies and procedures designed to grow our teams and develop a highly qualified and diverse workforce. This position oversees the SF SPCA’s full-cycle recruitment processes, supervises the Recruitment Associate, and participates in ongoing, hands-on recruitment efforts to build a pipeline of interested and qualified candidates. The TA Manager develops recruitment key performance indicators (KPIs), tracks and analyses data to identify trends and inform planning decisions, manages the applicant tracking system, works with internal resources to enhance the SF SPCA’s employer brand, community and online presence, and ensures a consistent and positive candidate experience. Essential Duties and Functions: Develop and implement sustainable talent acquisition strategies. Create innovative programs for filling complex and hard to fill positions. Develop recruiting strategies to attract diverse candidates and support DE&I initiatives. Utilize recruitment analytics to support workforce planning, resource forecasting, and recruitment timelines. Evaluate current recruiting procedures, update, and/or develop new processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Provide hands-on management of full cycle recruiting functions. Provide leadership, guidance, training, and supervision for Recruitment Associates. Work is performed in a shelter/animal hospital setting.
