You can be our next success storyThis role is perfect for an individual who approaches their work professionally, loves to be a part of a team, and wants to help us get better every day.If that sounds like you, come join this industry leaderHere's What You'll Get To DoMaintain all quality reports by departmentDrive external quality improvement initiativesParticipates in meetings for the development and implementation of all RPN activitiesParticipate in layered audits for process verifications, gauge verifications, error proofing, etc.Liaison between and quality for external customer issues through resolution of quality concerns to minimize liability.Investigates matters of significance with regards to quality (Large dollar value, complex issues, multi-supplier issues) for customer resolution.May work on specialty projects in conjunction with corporate initiatives.Understanding customer expectations and needs, outlining quality standards and developing quality control processesImplementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipmentEnsuring that products adhere to quality standardsPreparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing dataTraining and coaching production employees in production practices and quality assessment of productsTracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correctPerforming inspections of final products to ensure they are up to industry and company / customer standardsProblem solving reasons for product quality issuesHere's What We're Looking For 3+ years of previous experience in quality management or continuous improvement.Experience with Windows Based SoftwareExcellent oral and written communication skills: ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels in the organization and external contacts.Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with APDP, ISO 90001, TS 16949 or other QMS is preferredAn uncompromising safety-first approach in the workplace.
