Responsible for cleaningvarious areas of the company's buildings.POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essentialfunctions.Perform custodial duties on nightly job checklist as assigned.Be alert to power failure, adverse changes in building temperature, water leaks, etc. and notify theunit leader/manager.Limit complaints to 4 per year, this includes but is not limited to recycling and trash containers,dusting, and vacuuming.Comply with the preparation of company cleaning solutions and safe use in accordance withcompany policy and Material Safety Data Sheets.Participate in meetings and OSHA training as scheduled.Maintain awareness and response to security alarms, door issues, and parking lots while on shift.Complete other projects as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to performeach essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to read anddecipher information on Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and container labels and translateinformation into proper procedures in accordance with OSHA regulations.Must be able to follow instructions.Must have basic communication skills, ability to work well with others, and ability to maintainconfidential information.Must have general computer abilities.Must be able to work flexible hours set by management when needed.Effectively interface with external contacts, Brotherhood employees, managers, and departmentstaff members.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEList Degree Requirement, Years' Experience, and CertificationsEducation and/or ExperienceMust have a high school diploma or equivalent.Some previous custodial experience is desired.Terms and ConditionsThis description is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for theperformance of this position.
