**Duties and Essential Functions:**

* Accept and register food and perishable items delivered by third party companies.

* Deliver food and perishable items to the residential units.

* Pay attention to the activity at the customers table. Refill beverages timely and without the customer requesting a refill.

* Deal with resident complaints or problems in a positive manner.

**Supervision:**

* This position reports and takes direction from the General Manager

**Work Environment:**

This position operates primarily indoors in the front desk area of the residential high-rise building. Noise level is moderate.

**Physical Demands:**

* Must be able to stand and move swiftly throughout shift.

* Must be able to reach, bend, kneel, climb, push, pull or lift items weighing up to 20 pounds.

* Requires auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written or oral instructions and procedures

* Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:**

This is a full-time hourly position. The work schedule may change throughout the year to accommodate the business needs of the property. Hours of operation include nights and holidays.

**Travel:**

* Travel is not expected for this position.

**Required Education and Experience:**

* High school diploma or food safety training

* Proven experience working in a restaurant as a server or related position.

* Excellent customer service and communications skills

* Problem solving and decision-making skills.

* Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

* Ability to work in a team atmosphere
