Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst

This role involves supporting strategic planning and decision-making by analyzing financial data and generating detailed reports for senior leaders. Responsibilities:
  • Aid senior leaders by interpreting and transforming financial data.
  • Create detailed financial and performance reports for senior executives.
  • Develop and maintain strategic planning models to support business growth strategies.
  • Analyze financial performance and trends to offer insights and recommendations.
  • Perform profitability assessments for different business segments.
  • Communicate findings and actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Evaluate strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Implement business intelligence tools, including data warehouse solutions.
  • Lead the creation of PowerBI dashboards for financial insights.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure financial planning aligns with overall business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience is required, ideally in financial sectors such as banking, private equity, or specialty finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA is preferred.
  • Understanding of US GAAP, including knowledge of financial reporting standards, accounting principles, and guidelines governing financial statements preparation and presentation.
  • Skilled in financial modeling and analysis, including building strategic planning models.
  • Experience evaluating strategic initiatives and providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and experience in data analysis and reporting.
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Excel and other financial software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with working under pressure and adapting to changing conditions.
  • High level of integrity and honesty.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
