The Content Marketing Manager owns the development, planning, and execution of the overall content strategy for Bunzl Retail Services (BRS). They are responsible for providing support to the Sr. Director, Marketing & Design Services and partnership with the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager and the marketing staff to plan and execute marketing campaigns and manage assigned marketing program tasks with attention to detail. This role includes providing support for Dynamics, HubSpot, WordPress, and other marketing platforms as needed with the main goals of increasing top-of-funnel leads, monitoring and improving program performance, and managing conversion rates throughout the marketing and sales funnel.
Responsibilities:
Create engaging and informative content that includes but may not be limited to blog posts, social content, website content (SEO optimized), newsletters, email communication, brochures/collateral, articles, press releases, project descriptions, and advertisements
Partner in the development of content strategy and present to high level stakeholders
Develop and execute multichannel Marketing campaigns
Manage the content of the Bunzl Retails Website and update meta content
Coordinate the development and distribution of press releases and news articles highlighting our people, projects, and point of view
Attend industry events.
Coordinate marketing and sales team on strategic improvements, goal setting, and team-driven initiatives
Research competitors, market opportunities, and market trends
Liaise with clients, colleagues, and project teams to consider advertising requirements
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related field highly preferred
5+ years of professional writing experience across multiple platforms in BTB sectors
Hands-on experience with content management systems (i.e., WordPress)
Experience with HubSpot a plus or willingness to learn HubSpot
Familiarity with SEO optimized content
Excellent communications skills and comfort presenting to all levels within the company
Excellent organizational skills, flexible, strong attention to detail and timeliness
Creative, proactive, self-starter with the ability to work independently
This position may require occasional travel.
