Your Role

We seek an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Marketing to lead our department and drive ACG's marketing strategy. Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President will develop and execute innovative initiatives to promote our events, oversee membership marketing, contribute to revenue growth, and enhance brand awareness. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing leadership for chapter-based associations, with expertise in annual conference promotion, digital and social media marketing, subscription content, brand management, and membership growth strategies.

To be successful, you should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven record of accomplishment of at least 7-10 years in association marketing leadership roles, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful marketing strategies.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in market research, data analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, inspiring and motivating team members to achieve goals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving business growth through innovative marketing initiatives.
  • ACG utilizes these platforms, and experience with these platforms is a plus - Monday.com, Ǫualtrics, Feathr, HigherLogic Informz, Rhythm, Drupal, WordPress, Canva, Social Media Platforms, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Podcast Advertising.
  • Experience with or knowledge of financial services associations is a plus
Your duties as the Vice President of Marketing will include:
  • Develop Marketing Strategy: Create and execute strategies to drive brand awareness, event registrations, membership growth, and revenue.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand identity across all channels.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Plan and optimize campaigns using both online and offline channels to generate leads, increase registrations, drive membership, enhance loyalty, and boost sponsorship sales.
  • Revenue Growth: Lead marketing strategy for the annual conference and collaborated with the sponsorship team on sales campaigns.
  • Market Research: Analyze industry trends to identify growth opportunities and stay competitive.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing marketing team.
  • Collaboration: Work with various departments to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs and regularly report on marketing performance.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support marketing initiatives.
  • Membership Marketing: Assist in developing and tracking membership campaigns with consistent messaging.
  • GF Data: Develop campaigns to generate leads and retain the subscription base.
