**Client Support Specialist**

at Landis New York City We are growing rapidly and looking for a **Client Support Specialist** to join our Operations team. This role will interact with aspiring homeowners who want to learn more about how Landis can help them achieve their dreams. Landis is a homeownership company taking on the housing affordability crisis. Our mission is *to guide people on their unique path to homeownership* , and we do this through a coaching app and a holistic homeownership program where we buy a home for a client and rent it to them while we help them prepare for a mortgage. Landis has been on the Built In 50 Best Places to Work in New York City two years in a row.

The ideal candidate will communicate with confidence and compassion by phone, email and text, will thrive in a fast-paced environment and will be a quick learner, able to share their understanding of our product. Strong judgment and the ability to manage varying client and partner personalities are essential to success in this role.

**Where you will make an impact:**

* Lead a successful client and partner experience as the face of Landis when they first reach out to us

* Listen to clients, answer their questions and give them the confidence to move forward

* Work alongside your teammates to guide clients to the best solution for their homeownership journey

* Answer technical questions around how the homeownership program will work for them

* Contribute to company strategy by understanding client pain points and sharing your learnings with your managers and Landis leadership

**Your background includes:**

* 1+ year of prior experience supporting customers over email and phone

* Experience going above and beyond to answer customer questions and solve their specific issues

* Experience managing your time in an environment where prioritization is required

* Outstanding communication and teamwork skills

* Experience in finance/real estate preferred but not required

* You spend your spare hours on Zillow, Trulia, and Redfin

* Spanish speaking would be a plus
