Human Resources Professional Progressive audio-visual staging and service company seeks an HR Professional. Our services include comprehensive AV staging and presentation solutions for corporate, social, live entertainment, convention, and show management. We are looking for an HR Manager to handle various personnel-related administrative duties. You are the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolutions. You will also support our daily HR activities and coordinate HR policies, processes, and relevant documentation. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with day-to-day operations Review resumes Screen candidates Recruit/Headhunt Compile and update employee records Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations. Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonuses, leaves, etc.) Process employee leaves of absence by policy Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees Maintain personnel records in accordance with current laws and regulations Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews Perform background and reference checks Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures Assist in the investigation of employee complaints Maintain employee confidentiality Partake and process paperwork in employee terminations Communicate with public services when necessary Ensure Company standards, policies, and procedures are maintained DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE An ideal candidate for the human resources assistant position holds an academic HR background. Familiarity with our industry is also an advantage. An outgoing personality, industry knowledge, and strong consultative skills are preferred. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Strong experience with MS Office Suite Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (3-5 years) A comprehensive compensation package will be offered including salary, company retirement plan contribution, medical and dental insurance, vacation, and holidays.
