Staff Development Coordinator

As the Staff Development Coordinator/Registered Nurse (RN), you'll be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating educational programs for nursing services and other departments, and for resident/family education. You'll ensure that staff training and education is complete and in compliance with the current nursing practices, all applicable laws and regulations. You'll participate in committee meetings such as Quality Assurance, Safety Committee, etc.
- Salary starts at $34.00/hr and goes up based on experience
- Part-Time position, 8-16 hrs per week, but full-time hours available if willing to pick up shifts on the floor
- Dynamic team environment, that loves to have fun
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, RN license within the state of Iowa
- 1+ Year of experience as a supervisor in geriatrics, or other comparable long term care experience
