Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager with extensive experience in managing capital equipment projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or a related technical field, combined with exceptional project management skills. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of capital equipment projects, from conception through to implementation and post-delivery support. The Technical Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, goals, timelines, resources, and budgets.Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications.Execute project plans, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project milestones are met.Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.Facilitate communication and coordination between internal teams and external vendors or contractors.Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.Proactively address issues and obstacles to keep projects on track and within scope.Resource Management:

Allocate resources effectively to support project goals and timelines.Coordinate with resource managers to ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill sets are available for project tasks.Quality Assurance:

Establish and maintain quality standards for capital equipment projects.Conduct regular reviews and inspections to ensure deliverables meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements.Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change orders.Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, including key milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related technical field. Advanced degree preferred.Proven experience managing capital equipment projects, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings.Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Demonstrated leadership abilities, including motivating and inspiring team members to achieve project goals.Experience with risk management, quality assurance, and resource allocation.PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.Additional Requirements:
