Job Summary:

The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Revenue Integrity Analyst is responsible for utilizing Charge Description Master (CDM) management software to maintain a complete, accurate, and standardized CDM, with uniform data elements and consistency with clinical practice, and is an integral part of all revenue cycle system implementation, upgrades, or enhancements, reporting, and analysis to meet the on-going needs of the Revenue Cycle Department. The Revenue Integrity Analyst will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and trending information being reported or posted in order to identify the root-cause of issues and recommend operational changes to improve clean claims, revenue collection and reductions in denials.

SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF's geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF's vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration OR equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

2. Two (2) years of revenue cycle, healthcare finance, financial counseling, finance or healthcare administrative experience supporting claims or access management.

3. American Association of Healthcare Administrative Management (AAHAM) Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) or AAHAM Certified Revenue Integrity Professional (CRIP) Certification OR obtain within one (1) year of hire.

Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training.SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
