Job Summary The Quality Supervisor oversees a team of Quality Training Specialists to execute the activities required to meet IES training and quality standards. Job Duties and Responsibilities Work closely with the Quality Manager to establish the companys quality procedures, standards and specifications for all business units. Define and train quality procedures to team and operations staff. Review reports done by the team to ensure customer requirements are met and that manufacturer specifications are satisfied. Proactively look for ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency. Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures. Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing recommendations. Suggest changes and improvements and how to implement them. Use relevant quality tools to help managers and staff understand how to improve the business. Monitor the team to confirm we are working as effectively as possible. Be a customer advocate and mentor team members to achieve professional and personal goals. Other duties as assigned. Physical and Mental Requirements Operate as a team member of management. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Lead by positive example on policy, quality, safety, employee, ethical, and customer?satisfaction attitude. Work a non?standard work schedule as required to provide job, team or individual?specific training. Climb ladders, use hand and power tools, and lift 50 pounds. Be self?motivated, positive, professional, and lead others to create, develop, implement and review project process improvements. Promote the company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners. Possess proven problem?solving and critical?thinking skills and the ability to read, write, and give oral presentations. Interpret blueprints and other project documents, including specifications, reporting and quality requirements. Travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed; estimated 50% travel. Learn and teach the company and customer project management systems. Maintain regular attendance. Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years of training experience or a related role. Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience in telecommunications, electrical, or a related technical or construction field. Prefer BICSI trainer certification; BICSI technician certification also preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of job costing, job planning, quality management, safety training and contract administration. Working knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and their applications. Skilled in numerical and statistical analysis. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project). Must meet company minimum driving standards. Working knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theory practice preferred. Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications. Minimum Years of Experience 6+ years. License Required No. Minimum Education High School.
