Summary: As Director, Agile you will report to the VP, Software Development. Your core responsibility is to establish and govern Agile principles, processes, methodologies, and best practices across our organization. Your role is pivotal in steering our Agile initiatives, ensuring seamless execution of our product roadmap, and aligning cross-functional Scrum teams, aiming at delivering high-quality products driving business growth.

This role is a hybrid role that will work onsite 1-2 days per week at our Conshohocken, PA location. Occasional travel may be required as part of this position. #LinkedIn-Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Lead the company's Agile transformation and governance efforts, ensuring the adoption of Agile principles, values, and practices across the organization.
  • Implement and optimize Agile methodologies and standard processes, leading the change associated with Agile adoption and ensuring seamless integration.
  • Manage and optimize the product development life cycle, collaborating closely with product stakeholders to define product roadmaps and prioritize feature development.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (critical metrics) related to product development and Agile processes, monitoring team performance and delivery velocity.
  • Provide strategic direction and ensure alignment Scrum master's facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups
  • Drive weekly PDLC Triage meetings with key partners for each program to help make decisions, remove obstacles, and address key program issues.
  • Anticipate and promptly remove obstacles hindering scrum teams from delivering on project goals, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
  • Find opportunities for process improvement and streamline workflows to improve team efficiency and product quality. Continuously refine and evolve Agile processes and practices.
  • Hold Senior Leadership in Software Development, Product Management, and other partners accountable to align agile initiatives with overall business strategies.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and standard processes.
  • Define Jira guidelines and standard methodologies within Jira and other Agile tools to enhance team productivity, visibility, and reporting.
  • Drive technology project management initiatives and hold Software development teams accountable to project timelines.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, computer science, or a related field
  • Consistent track record of at least 10 years in Agile transformation and leadership roles
  • Deep expertise in Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean, SAFe) and their practical implementation.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Change management experience and driving organizational change.
  • Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or SAFe certifications are a plus.

The base salary range for this position is between $154,980.00 to $170,000.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
