SUMMARY

Candidate will oversee daily operations of Cage and Credit.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Other duties may be assigned.

  • Candidate will be responsible for interviewing and hiring Cashiers/Player Services Reps, Bankers/Player Services Reps, Cage Supervisors, and Cage Shift Managers.
  • Candidate will be responsible for charting attendance, issuing corrective actions, monitoring of Cashier/Player Services Rep and Banker/Player Services Rep variances, and approval of weekly schedules and vacations.
  • Candidate will analyze cage operations to create maximum efficiency but still maintain a high level of guest service.
  • Candidate will oversee maintenance of the payroll and personnel records as well as interaction with other departments.
  • Candidate will coordinate the training of new Cashiers/Player Services Reps, Bankers/Player Services Reps, Cage Supervisors, and Cage Shift Manager personnel.
  • Candidate will ensure that AML compliance is adhered to.
  • Candidate will receive chip inventory and be responsible for movement of gaming chips between storage locations.
  • Candidate will deal with equipment purchases, maintenance, and repair.
  • Candidate will be required to supervise and approve the issuance of casino credit.
  • Candidate must be familiar with the variety of concepts, practices, and procedures of the cage.
  • Candidate will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals.
  • Candidate will ensure appropriate staffing, proper accounting, and excellent customer service.
  • Candidate will supervise all point adjustments and resolving customer issues.
  • Candidate will oversee the proper implementation of bonuses for the bus program.
  • Candidate will provide Cage staff with marketing information. Candidate will supervise or adjust points in the Oasis system for birthdays, voucher returns, mistakes, and run time errors.
  • May issue a complimentary/promotional expense in accordance with the approved comp matrix.
  • Candidate will provide training support of kiosk functions and promotions.
  • Candidate will supervise the updating promotional reports. Candidate will supervise the enrollment of new members in the Players Club and answers account questions.Must have a thorough knowledge of the points system.
  • Will supervise the occasional acceptance of donations for charitable promotions.
  • Candidate will be responsible to supervise the cage supervisors when processing credit applications, running credit reports, bank reports and gaming reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent.College degree preferred.Candidate must be 100% customer service focused, and possess good interpersonal skills.5-7 years of prior casino cage or banking experience required.

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATH ABILITY

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must possess intermediate PC skills.Microsoft Office experience required.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for supervising Cage Shift Managers and Supervisors.Candidate will also be responsible for hiring, training, coaching, and disciplining of all cage personnel.
