Position Objectives:
The Marketing Operations System Administrator is responsible for managing and optimizing marketing automation platforms and systems to execute effective marketing communications, lead, and nurture campaigns, and event activations. The primary goal is to drive company growth through automated communication campaigns and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve impactful results.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute Automated Marketing Campaigns:
Implement and manage automated marketing campaigns across diverse channels, including email, SMS, and website.
Build and Implement Marketing Automation Workflows:
Develop and deploy marketing automation workflows, such as lead nurture campaigns, member communications, and online event activations.
Data Hygiene Management:
Manage and enhance data hygiene processes, including the implementation of tracking and attribution mechanisms.
Quality Assurance (QA) Process:
Own the end-to-end QA process, ensuring the quality and accuracy of emails, including links, imagery, pricing, discounts, trademarks, dynamic content, email rendering, and alignment with brand guidelines.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Support the development and delivery of Email/SMS campaigns by collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate deliverables.
Campaign Performance Monitoring:
Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports to evaluate effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations in collaboration with the Marketing Ops Manager.
Strategy Development and Implementation:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies and tactics aligned with business goals.
Integration with CRM Systems:
Work closely with the Marketing Ops Manager and Director of Marketing to ensure seamless integration between marketing automation and CRM systems.
A/B Testing and Optimization:
Conduct A/B testing and optimize campaign elements to maximize engagement, conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI).
Stay Informed on Industry Trends:
Stay up to date with the latest trends, research, and best practices in marketing automation and digital marketing.
Adaptability and Additional Responsibilities:
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Degree
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Combination of education and experience would be considered.
Experience
3-5 years experience as a Marketing Automation Specialist or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of marketing automation platforms, such as SF Marketing Cloud, Pardot, or similar.
Proficiency in CRM systems, such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
Proficiency in Web platforms, such as WordPress.
Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent attention to detail and proactive time management.
A self-starter who anticipates needs, proactive problem solver, and ability to work independently.
Physical
Ability to remain in a stationary seated or standing position for various increments of time.
Able to move about to access a variety of tools and office equipment.
Able to consistently operate a computer or other electronic device.
