Spherion is currently recruiting for two Direct Hire Senior Accountant roles to work for our Public Accountant client inOshkosh and Sister Bay. This role is on-site with some potential hybrid capacity.These individuals will lead and manage multiple tax and accounting engagements to deliver quality tax services for their clients. Highlights:
- Direct hire
- $80-100k/year with bonus potential

Responsibilities:
- Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate basic knowledge of clients businesses
- Complete tax planning, along with occasional specialty duties, such as business valuations or estate planning
- Prepare and assist in reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, real estate, and exempt organizations
- Prepare research memoranda, written correspondence/guidance, and other documents for submission to the IRS or other taxing authorities
- Manage multiple clients, budgets and production goals
- Prepare, compile, and review financial statements

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
- CPA Certification preferred or eligible

Education:
Bachelors

Experience:
4-7 years

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of recent public accounting experience
