Objective: Order entry process owner of the Chase product line within HMF facility. Work hand-in-hand with sales, operations, supply chain, and logistics to meet product expectations. Become a product expert on application and customizations available in production. Have a full understanding of the product’s life cycle/processes from order entry to customer delivery. Responsibilities: Apply knowledge of products and engineering systems to consult sales and enter customer specifications quickly and accurately into our order management system. Communicate lead times for specific products each week. Start orders in the HMF ERP system including freight, packaging, and lead time. Troubleshoot orders damaged upon arrival to customer and resolve in a timely manner. Implement continuous improvement wherever possible including but not limited to consulting department heads, creating documentation, cross-training team members, implementing and auditing new practices. Requirements: Exceptional communication skills. Strong influencing skills to gather critical information from various functional areas. Willingness to do what it takes to meet both internal and external commitments. Highly accountable. Works well in a team environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated. Works with a sense of urgency. Computer proficient (skilled in Excel and Microsoft Office is helpful).
