ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responds to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provides resolution
  • Maintain files and records of personnel-related data in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met
  • Keep track of FMLA/STD/LTD and all leave of absences
  • Source candidates, perform background and/or reference checks and recruit general laborers
  • Conduct onboarding/Orientation as well as assist in streamlining the process
  • Assist in issuing employment contracts
  • Assist in Safety Training and audits
  • Schedule HR events
  • Create and maintain employee files
  • Assist with all employee engagement program implementation and follow up including but not limited to the Attendance Incentive program, Employee of the Month, Hall of Fame, Birthday Recognition etc.
  • Benefit enrollment through Employee Navigator or whatever platform is current
  • .Execute Random Drug Screen program
  • Assist in updating job descriptions and policies
  • Employment Verification and other correspondence
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned by HR Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS or BA degree preferred
  • Experience in Human Resources, preferably in a Manufacturing, Production, or Warehouse setting
  • Knowledge of best practices
  • Strong ability in using MS Office
  • Experience with HR databases and HRIS Systems
  • Vast experience with understanding of sourcing tools, indeed, careers in foods, linked in, job sites, social media.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
  • Support a positive culture
