We are currently looking for a Full Time Financial Analyst II to join our Financial Reporting Team 1 team located at the Abbott Miller Bldg working 8:00AM-5:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.

Summary:

This position assists in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and other special reports for internal and/or external use to provide Leadership with easily digestible and interpreted analysis. Conforms to processes and procedures to enhance the reporting of the Nation. Assists in finding accounting and/or reporting variances and formulate accounting or report changes based on such.

Responsibilities:
* Accountable for report mapping oversight for the team
* Prepares monthly reports
* Prepares annual reports
* Coordinates special projects as assigned
* Provide variance analysis and explanation in advance of report issuance
* Manage, investigate, and resolve abnormal or incorrect general ledger account classifications
* Assists leadership with financial questions and/or research
* Update the historical financial log ("trend book")
- This log is a repository of balance sheets, income statements, and other key report areas based on published report values and is vital for proper analytical and comparative statements in many reports.
* All other duties as assigned

* Writes effective communications with team, departments, guests and management

Skills:
Essential:
* Intermediate skill using Excel for multiple purposes

Experience:
Essential:
* 3 years directly related experience

Education:
Essential:
* High School, GED or Equivalent
* Bachelors Degree in directly related field

Credentials:
Essential:
* Standard Driver's License
* Pass general background check
* Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
* Governmental Accounting Standards Board

Working Conditions:
Essential:
* Pass pre-employment drug test
* Works in an office setting

Nonessential:
* May work remotely
