Description

Helping our members get that first home or refinance their current home is an incredible feeling. As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will play a key role in that experience. Your help and guidance will make the mortgage process enjoyable and easy for our members. Duties Include:

  • Reviews first and second mortgage applications for completeness. Provides data entry of information. Ensures all information is available prior to sending to underwriting. Requests additional information if necessary.
  • Updates mortgage and credit union systems with supporting documentation throughout the process.
  • Receives and responds to calls and emails from members inquiring about mortgage process or status of mortgage loan.
  • Forwards calls to Mortgage Originators and ensures members receive responses in a timely manner with correct information.
  • Prepares and sends out initial disclosures for mortgage loans within 3 business days of application for online applications.
  • Orders appraisals, title exams, and flood determinations.

The pay for this position starts at $19.14 per hour, with relevant education and experience considered in determining the starting pay rate.

Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent education and experience
  • Experience in a financial institution or finance company
  • Knowledge of the lending process and terms
  • Experience in customer service and public relations
  • Must possess: oral and written communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Resume and cover letter required
  • In office position with possibility of hybrid schedule after training has been completed
