Summary of job:
Responsible for supervising and providing day-to-day operations and work activities of Front Desk staff to ensure professionalism, guest service, and satisfaction.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure all guests are welcomed courteously
Schedule team members based on operating needs
Increase revenues by promoting in-house and resort-wide services
Investigate and resolve guest concerns promptly
Update guest reservations and folios as necessary
Communicate clearly with team members and guests
Maintain cleanliness of the front desk/office
Ensure staffing & training plans support the Service Mantra
Provide guidance, counseling, and development for the staff
Document guest interactions and recovery efforts
Multi-task between Front Desk and Call Center
Implement emergency response procedures
Perform other tasks as assigned
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS : Reports to Manager of Business Operations
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS :
High school diploma or equivalent
Associates degree preferred in hospitality or related field
At least six (6) months prior experience in front desk operations preferred
Knowledge of OPERA-PMS software
Must be able to speak, understand, read and write in English
Must be able to be on feet for up to six (6) hours per day
Ability to communicate professionally with team members and guests
Ability to motivate, develop, train, and direct staff
Must be able to work various shifts as needed
