Work Location: Battle Creek, Michigan

Shift: 3rd Shift

$19/Hour + $1.25 Shift Premium

We have an exciting opportunity at our Battle Creek facility for entry level or experienced Tool Setterwho is excited about taking Motus to the NEXT level. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set-Up, clean, maintain and trouble shoot molding, cutting, and forming tools used in the manufacture and assembly of WIP and finished goods
  • Ensure personnel safety in work area by proper use of PPE, ensuring clear work areas, and proper function of tools
  • Ensure all ancillary and auxiliary equipment is in good working order and is properly integrated into the process.
  • Ensure that proper quality, production, and safety policies and procedures are followed and enforced.
  • Ensure all set-ups can attain Standard Production Rate
  • Investigate and trouble shoot tooling/equipment/process problems to maximize production efficiency
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with all production Line Leads and Supervisors
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Able to perform work responsibilities safety and ability to follow all safety rules and regulations
  • High School Diploma or GED is required and 2 years experience using hand tools preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
