Correctly triages clinical emergencies, including suicide and danger to others. Uses best practices and evidenced based practice models for psychotherapy where appropriate. Makes effective use of topic oriented, focused, time-limited group therapy. Provides or refers to group when required. Demonstrates knowledge of the use of psychotropic medications. Completes clinical documentation in timely manner. Engages in facilitating group (outpatient or intensive outpatient) as well as seeing patients across the lifespan when necessary. Demonstrates knowledge of internal and external levels of care, referral processes and resources. Makes clinically appropriate referrals for identified service needs in a timely manner. Communicates in a positive, effective manner with client, family, and all internal and external providers. Attends any required meetings and multidisciplinary treatment team planning meeting. Meets direct service productivity goals as defined by program. Demonstrates knowledge of program/department/agency goals and target outcomes, and adheres to practice standards and to data collection and reporting protocols.
