Essential Duties And Responsibilities Overall management of the financial operations of the site, including planning, organizing, and controlling the financial resources Manage month-end closing process for site Provide financial analysis as required Provide key financial inputs for one-year planning Interact with clients relative to requests for quotes and other financial aspects of the relationship Ensure key financial metrics (i.e., working capital, DSO, DPO, etc.) are met by the site Creates and sends invoices for work performed / billing milestones as needed including pre-payments, credit memos, etc. Manages credit evaluations and client financial due diligence for site Assists BDs, Client Services, and Study Directors in internal requests for study information, ERP information, past billing information Troubleshooting ERP issues with invoicing / Sales Orders Assists other Discovery sites with collections and payment processing as needed Assists the NSC with inquiries, unapplied cash, and mis-deposits Completes various other tasks, internally and externally, as needed Demonstrates and promotes the company vision Regular attendance and punctuality Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner Performs other duties as assigned Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering to client needs and timelines Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required Adjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlines Adheres to site environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance 1-2 years of relevant experience Strong interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels of the business Strong computer and organization skills Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
