The Recruiter-HR Generalist (RHRG) primary responsibility will be to partner with Hiring Managers to anticipate and meet the evolving talent needs of Charter College. The position will nurture relationships with prospective talent, develop candidate pipelines, research, assess, and identify new and innovative strategies and tools for recruiting great talent, and manage business relationships with internal clients.The RHRG will also be responsible for general human resources functions like: Managing background check formsManaging offer lettersSending I-9 and on-boarding notifications for new hire paperwork andVerifying employment for past and current employeesWe are a service department with top-notch service expectations.The Recruiter-HR Generalist reports to the Director of Human Resources (DHR).DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage the recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within the businessPost and monitor positions for the timely attraction of candidatesRegular follow-up with the respective Hiring Managers and candidates to ensure the timeliness of the recruitment processActively participate in all staffing-related activities and engage in cross-functional projects.Manage background checks for all new employees.Manage offer letters for all new and existing employees.Complete 3rd party employment verifications for current and previous employeesComplete unemployment benefits paperwork for all former employees within governmental agency-mandated timelines.Cross-train with other personnel in the Human Resources departmentOther HR-related duties as assigned by the DHRJOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: Minimum of 2-3 years of Recruiting experience orMinimum of 2-3 years of working in an HR officeHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent requiredA college degree from a recognized college or university preferredExcellent inter-personal skills, communication skills, and team-based project experience requiredProficient computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office products requiredExperience using Applicant Tracking/Talent Management or HR software preferredExperience in general HR functions is preferredAbility to pass a background check requiredCOMPENSATION: Salary - Exempt positionPay range: MIN $55,000/yr.
