This role is focused on building loyalty to ensure long-term client retention by presenting product information and addressing customer issues. The CSM will assist customers with transaction upsells, but most importantly help our customers with adoption and activation of SaaS products—SolidProfessor and 3DX products. Track team numbers within our CRM. Hit monthly/annual targets. Work collaboratively with Sales Reps to provide unparalleled service to customers. Respond to customers in a timely manner. Work towards revenue targets and KPI’s as set by the Chief Revenue Officer. Assist in achieving departmental quotas/goals. Set up onboarding meetings to facilitate activation, understanding of SaaS products, and adoption. Process orders with Order Management to include: Conversion of quote to a sales order, processing of customer purchase order, acquiring SolidWorks discount and deal registration. Fill in or backfill when needed for other CSM’s that are on vacation or out of the office. Work with SolidWorks staff to obtain software discounts for transactional deals. Attend work events such as Flight and 3DX World. Track quotas every month/quarter/year. Manage activation pipeline/sales pipeline and forecast weekly. WHAT WILL YOU NEED FOR SUCCESS IN THIS CUSTOMER SUCCESS MANAGER ROLE? 2 or more years of technical sales experience in a business-to-business environment are required. Other types of sales experience may be considered. College degree preferred but not required. Proven skills in sales techniques, customer service, professionalism, and time management. Ability to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive. Ability to learn quickly and think quickly. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with people at all levels. Efficient in all areas, including time management, calls, and strategizing how to activate SaaS accounts. Proven track record of hitting sales targets. Ability to forecast sales goals and SaaS activations based on analytics. Ability to contribute to the direction of the team, support your colleagues, and execute on action items. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and accomplish tasks as assigned without regular follow-up by management. Strategic thinking and planning skills to implement our Customer Success plan. Autonomous, self-driven, detail-oriented, excellent communicator with outstanding time management and interpersonal skills (empathetic, team player, problem solver with excellent conflict management skills).
