The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data visualization and analysis, data wrangling, and helping translate business requirements into a data execution strategy. Who You’ll Work With

The Business Analysis Manager will report into the DigitalX Lifecycle Analytics team, a department within Cisco’s Transformation Center. Our team’s mission is to create a best-in-class, unified Analytics experience across Sales & CX leaders to drive recurring revenue and performance growth for Cisco. Ultimately, this team will be integral in helping identify, position, and sell more Cisco products and services to our customers aiding in our shift to recurring revenue.

This role provides the opportunity to work with senior leadership on highly visible and strategic programs. The role will also provide exposure to other partner teams such as Sales, Customer Success, Renewals, and IT. This role will work in a matrixed environment and will partner closely with other business leaders, analysts, data engineers, and process architects.

What You’ll Do

Design, solution, and build data visualization products to be consumed by our Sales & CX Leadership teams. Participate in agile ceremonies and perform against a prioritized backlog of data visualization and business intelligence tasks. Lead solutioning discussions with Solution Architects, POs, BAs, Data Engineers to help formulate the tasks needed to complete features. Work with a supporting cast of analysts and engineers to translate business requirements into user stories Help design data models to support an agile development lifecycle inclusive of data visualization and predictive analytics Build wireframes for new capabilities, PoC dashboards, and predictive models Partner closely with data engineering to ensure on-time delivery of data relevant to the roadmap. Develop and maintain internal product documentation. This may include but not limited to data sources and ERDs, logical definition defined in the presentation layer, and visual assets/libraries (including images, styles, colors, etc). Coordinate data quality including validation, cleansing/scrubbing data in the presentation layer

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of experience using Business Intelligence visualization tools like Tableau, QlikView, Power BI, Einstein Analytics, Looker for the creation and automation of Enterprise Scale dashboards. 5+ years in product and project management role or function and experience developing and executing capability roadmaps 2+ years in UX development and understanding of how to effectively embed dashboards into existing applications. Experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript is required. 5+ years of experience writing advanced SQL, performance tuning of BI queries, data modeling, and data mining, data wrangling from multiple sources (SQL, ETL, data warehousing).

Preferred Qualifications

Strong visualization design and development experience with Tableau and/or other Business Intelligence tools. Possesses a proven foundation in data analytics, an understanding and foundation in data science. Good communication and presentation skills and demonstrable experience communicating to senior leadership Experience in Cisco and Sales/Renewals highly preferred as ideal candidate will have knowledge of the CX business and relevant data architectures Demonstrable experience as a self-starter who can proactively takes initiative, sets own direction, and implements with minimal direct supervision 2+ years working directly or indirectly on data science projects preferred MBA and working experience with sales and operations metrics preferred
