We are seeking a Portfolio Analyst to be responsible for supporting the investment management process by conducting detailed analysis and research on investment portfolios. This role involves evaluating portfolio performance, identifying investment opportunities, and providing insights to help optimize client portfolios. The Portfolio Analyst will work closely with portfolio managers and investment teams to develop and implement investment strategies and ensure alignment with client objectives.

Portfolio Analyst Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of investment portfolios, including performance metrics, asset allocation, and risk factors.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of investment strategies by analyzing market trends, economic data, and financial statements.
  • Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, providing regular reports and recommendations to portfolio managers and clients.
  • Perform due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including researching and analyzing individual securities, funds, and other investment vehicles.
  • Prepare detailed investment reports, presentations, and other documentation for client meetings and internal reviews.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and other team members to ensure portfolios are aligned with client goals and investment objectives.
  • Utilize financial models and analytical tools to assess portfolio risk and return profiles.
  • Stay informed about market developments, industry trends, and regulatory changes affecting investment strategies and portfolio management.
  • Support the development of client-facing materials and communications, ensuring accuracy and clarity in reporting.
Portfolio Analyst Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Finance, or related field
  • 3 years of relevant experience within Financial Services
  • FINRA Series 7, and 63, 65, or 66
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, portfolio management, and fiduciary investing concepts
  • Prior experience with Financial Planning software
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
Portfolio Analyst Preferred Requirements 
  • CFA, CFP Designation, or desire to enroll in certification
  • Experience with Advent, Addepar, Redtail, RBC, and MoneyGuidePro
