Position: Materials Coordinator

1st Shift/Full-Time: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM; Monday - Friday

Competitive Starting Pay: $19.83 - $21.81/hr. BOE

Location: Tomah, WI 54660

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Issue materials as required by the production process and close finished work orders.
  • Create pack list and assist Material Handler as needed.
  • Generate purchase orders for selected materials.
  • Provide some stocking of materials. Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • May provide some delivery duties.
  • Cycle count and assist in improving the accuracy of counts.
Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Requires education generally equivalent to 4 years of high school and 1-year related experience in receiving and stock keeping procedures and inventory control procedures. Knowledge of general or background in Machine Shop practices a plus.

SKILLS and ABILITIES YOU WILL NEED
  • Read and comprehend simple instructions and written materials relating to receiving, stock keeping, inventory control and safety procedures.
  • Ability to make calculations and maintain and interpret charts relating to statistical process control.
  • Must possess good oral communication skills to discuss inventory control issues with employees and work with customers daily.
  • The employee must have a good working knowledge of computers and using a calculator.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
