Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.We have an exciting opportunity for a *Mechanical Engineer II* to join the Test Equipment Engineering organization located onsite in Tucson, AZ.The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) directorate is a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon products. We are hands-on, designing with the latest technology and tools, and integrate state of the art test solutions with the most advanced engineering systems in the world. TEE products are located in engineering labs, in the field, and in production environments utilized for weapon system product verification, qualification, test data analysis, and production test solution development. If you're passionate about what you could accomplish here, we'd love to hear from you.*What You Will Do*Research, plan, design, and document mechanical test systems in areas including, but not limited to, vibration, thermal, hydraulic, radio frequency, and electro-optical for production testing environmentsIntegrate and validate test systems against stringent accuracy and reliability requirementsEvaluate production installations and recommend design modifications to eliminate malfunctions*Qualifications You Must Have*Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two (2) years of prior relevant experience.Two (2) years of technical / engineering experience in mechanical design and/or production supportTwo (2) years of experience with CAD solid modeling toolsExperience creating mechanical drawing packagesThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
