Position Summary

The Project Engineer will be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. The Project Engineer will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned Engineering and test Lab projects to complete on schedule and on budget.
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA policies, performance standards and specifications.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with sales, production, and customers to complete projects.
  • Incorporates inspection and machine capabilities into product designs.
  • Participate in rotation for liaison and Job/Planning review for Engineering and Manufacturing
  • Proficient in 8D RCCA process and QA programming support for inspection.
  • Write and perform reviews of Technical Reports.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Proven work experience as a project engineer.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Basic knowledge of GD&T, mechanical design principles and PLM drawing review.
  • FEA and Aircraft Structures familiarity desired.
  • Programming and scripting skills (Python, Java, SQL, visual Basic) desired.

For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
