As we continue growing at a fast pace, will you Dare to Grow with us?YOUR ROLETo support transportation related issues for the Shipwire platformWHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Utilize strong knowledge of Excel to assist in pricing calculations and provide pricing analytic supportEstablish monitoring and updating platform rate enhancements to ensure accuracy in platform automated rating.Monthly profitability accruals estimations and leading revenue recovery effortsWork closely with product to capture billable events on platform and platform enhancements.Continuation of global rate implementation tool to ensure correct ratingSupport and implement carriers/service xmls by regionMaintaining current supply costs in platformOriginate, implement and execute strategies that advance the global carrier portfolio and the ultimate service experience of all Shipwire stakeholdersHelp with the analytics for regional carrier ratingHelp with Shipwire carrier peak forecastHelp manage and maintain our carrier services and rateportfolio of Local and Global Delivery Providers.Ensure transition to automated billing and provide process for billing exceptionsWork closely with transportation team and account management on the post accessorial billing process.Investigate carrier charges and create preventive measures either in platform XMLs or understanding WMS operations shortcomings.XML carrier/service updates for the platform rate engineProvide Ad-hoc platform analysisGRI platform implementationRating engine trouble shooting/ upkeepMerchants small parcel network analysisWHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?Education and Experience:3-4 years of experience supporting and/or managing pricing decisions, including forecasting and profitability analysis in logistics industryStrong knowledge of transportation industry, with emphasis on distribution, LTL, small package and 3PL requiredInnovative individual who can devise strategies and execute plans; able to interact with all levels both internally and externallyAdaptable, proactive personality style that can prioritize, quickly adapt to changing conditions, and execute autonomously to closureStrong analytical skills with ability to interpret the numbers for business meaning and applicationPrevious experience with financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, etc.)Must be organized, detail-oriented and able to follow through with tasks to their conclusionAbility to multi-task and work with minimum supervisionAdvance ExcelSQL knowledge preferredExperience with Google BigQuery and DOMO a plusExperience working in highly matrixed organization supporting Sales, Operations, Engineering, Product, and Finance.Experience supporting business units in addition to heavy data analytics.Ability to distill complex business /financial situations and questions into simple and clear conclusions.Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with corporate executives, business management and functional groups.Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with working in a high-volume, highly dynamic rapid paced environment.Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.Ability to make recommendations, gain agreement and implement solutions on behalf of a diverse organization.A complex to advanced level of knowledge in: Spreadsheets - Excel - writing macros, developing formulas, using functions such as pivot and lookup tablesAbility to work with senior level internal associates.Complex modeling, dashboard creation and problem -solving skills.WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER?With a genuine culture of recognition, we want our employees to grow, develop and be part of our journey.
