With 787 employees 101 active medical staff and 21 Emergency Department beds Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital continually implements and upgrades its technology and recruits employees who understand the vital importance of kindness and compassion in the healing process.**Responsibilities****Position Summary:**Employing excellent customer service skills the Patient Registration Representative is responsible for ensuring apositive patient experience throughout the registration process.**Qualifications****Requirements:**+ Minimum 1 year of experience working in a hospital Patient Registration department healthcare insurance company revenue cycle vendor and/or other revenue cycle related 2 years preferred+ Knowledge of charity care programs as well as the various government and non-government programs preferred+ High School diploma GED or equivalent+ Thorough understanding of insurance policies and procedures+ Working knowledge of medical terminology+ Able to perform basic mathematics for payment calculation+ Experience in requesting and processing financial payments+ Intermediate to advanced computer skills**Pay Range**$26.08 - $34.09 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
